Sound Quality

A bit of advice, please. My tv is HDMI equiped so no problems with the picture. The sound (except through ear phones) is crap.
The only relevant outlets seem to be the usual red white and yellow.
I'm not a technical person so I'm looking for something like plug and play. Any suggestions please? Or do I have to just scrap my Prologic tv and start again?

Re: Sound Quality

You're probably better off searching/asking in the relevant TV forum:

LCD TVs: LCD Televisions - AVForums.com
Plasma TVs: Plasma Televisions - AVForums.com

There's also forums for rear-projection ones etc and there's a number of very knowledgeable people that will have or know your model.

But in general sound should come thru your HDMI cable* if you've enabled it, so other inputs are irrelevant.

* Not sure about the 360. Mines ancient and dosent do HDMI. PS3 is fine with HDMI and RB2.

Thanks for that. I do have the HDMI fitted. I think the problem's really with volume (not enough) rather than quality.
