DD505 drums with Guitar Hero

Hi everyone,

I've had a Session Pro DD505 electronic drum kit for a few years, and decided I'd try it out with Guitar Hero.

I've connected it up to the World Tour drum set with a midi cable, but not all of the pads register with the game.

The toms cymbles are fine, but the kick and snare (red) don't register.

Does anyone know how this could be resolved? I think the Midi implemenation may need to be adjusted but I don't know how to do this.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

Tom

Re: DD505 drums with Guitar Hero

Hi OneMore,
Im having the same problem with a fame drum, and you are right, you have to assign the correct midi notes in the edrum module, which are:
RockBand Settings:
# RED - MIDI Note 38
# YELLOW - MIDI Note 46
# BLUE - MIDI Note 48
# GREEN - MIDI Note 45
# ORANGE - MIDI Note 36

Guitar Hero World Tour Settings:
# RED - MIDI Note 38
# YELLOW - MIDI Note 46
# BLUE - MIDI Note 48
# GREEN - MIDI Note 45
# ORANGE - MIDI Note 49
# PURPLE - MIDI Note 36

The problem is that I just dont know how to do it.
Any solution yet?
Thanks

Re: DD505 drums with Guitar Hero

If it's possible to do it, it should be in the manual for the drum brain. Most brains allow you to set the midi note values for each trigger, but some don't, and it may be that this is the case unfortunately. I have the Alesis DM5 and Roland Td3 modules, and it is possible to set them.

There will likely be more info about your specific drums on the official GH and RB forums. The RB one is here:
