Ill be getting it all because.... well its MAIDEN. now if these green day rumours turn out to be true too i will be one happy camper.

I take it these are all master as i already have the number of the beast cover.

Run to the hills is coming back. dare i hope that one day enter sandman will follow in its footsteps.

Too bad we have to wait nearly 2 weeks. Lets home for something equally awesome tomorrow.

Just checked my newsletter. And i have discovered that not only do HMX support west ham (Up the Irons!), they are all masters. Good times except it means im going to have to delete another song.

I am so excited about this. It was not expected in the slightest. It was only last night that I was playing Number of the Beast and thinking we're never going to get any master Maiden songs. What a great selection too

someone over on scorehero hacked a file on one of the games (I think it was unplugged) and there was a load of green day songs on it. I forget what they all where, welcome to paradise, american idiot, there was about 20 of them although I know basket case was missing. Ill try and find the thread later. They usually turn out to be coming when they find songs in hacked files so here's hoping!

Please make it be a mistake! Green Day will not be getting any of my money. I'm definitely not a fan. Same goes for Nirvana

Maiden are prob my all time favorite band and ill gleefully snap up every single one of these.

Happy times in RockBandland ahead and I can ditch the horrible cover of Number of the Beast!!!

You know, I've never really been a Maiden fan, despite being a confirmed metalhead for decades now. I don't own a single album of theirs, may not have heard all that many even, but as ever with RB I enjoy playing along to their songs in the game that I would never really care to listen to otherwise. So when I saw this announcement in my email box I went, "Whoa!" I'll probably get this too.

lol I was only messing. The thing is, I'll probably end up getting 1 or 2 Green Day tracks just for my friends at parties, even though I can't stand them. Could be fun if everyone is into it though

I'm so glad it's the live version of Fear of the Dark. I just thought...how good will it be when the crowd (in game) start singing along?

I'm making sure I have nothing planned for that day so I can play all of these songs over and over

arghhh not another batch of songs i wont be able to do on drums!! especially now as my blue pad has a crack in it and is now registering double hits. Still i'll defo buy this as it'll be ace on guitar and will drag me off GH;Metallica.

Had a quick bash on a few songs at lunch today and so far so good. Drumming is as expected frenetic but fun. Run to the hills feels the same as RB1 (but with real vocals this time) and i failed at around 50% which is better than i've ever done before. some of the live songs are really atmospheric and shows what a great live act they are. Only played one guitar track (ACES High) which was very good indeed. number of the beast on drums is excellent fun and tricky to boot.

Cant wait to try the rest later today on full volume!

downloaded the whole pack when i got home from work. Went straight into tour and did the iron maiden challenge on drums. My god there all hard!!

Managed to pass 8 of them with mainly 4 stars, a couple of 5 and one three star on RttH. Yeah baby, ive finally passed run to the hills (to be fair I think my mesh snare played a HUGE part in this). I was well chuffed with it until a couple of songs later Powerslave kicked me slap bang in the nuts!

First try failed on 78% 2nd try on 92%. Im confident ill pass it but i was that exhausted after passing RttH i didnt have the energy. I really need to work on my stamina.

All in all, great fun songs to play, none of them are easy mind, I imagine guitar, bass and vocals will be the same.

EDIT- Damn it, this was post 666 for me. Had I noticed i would have made some really lame number of the beast reference!!!

Well done chewy you can now call yourself a true expert drummer

I'm getting up to 84% on rtth which is amazing for me. I can finally reach the speed required for the rolls but fatigue way too soon. ive done all the others on expert except iron maiden as i was sweating after failing rtth. I have to say my mad catz portable pads are holding up pretty well so far!!

Whilst the guitar aint as fun as drums the standout for me has to be hallowed be thy name. so many wonderful hopo's.

thanks mate. I was pretty pleased. Unfortunately i need to do it all again when i get RB1 back of my mate to complete the career. Its scary how bad the covers of RttH and Number of the Beast are though!

I was doing quite well on RttH untill the bit in the middle (I actually had an 8x multiplier at one point until i saw it and stopped like an idiot as I was so suprised!) where there's a different bass beat and that screwed me completely. I had to use my OD to stay alive but I passed it so that counts!! I just dont have the stamina to keep going through the whole song. I have to hoard OD a bit to get a bit of a break. I found the rolls suprisingly easy and nailed most of them which just goes to show how much practice really does help. It was only a year ago when i was bumbling my way through medium career and barely 5*ing anything.

All the songs are great fun, I love how on the penultimate track (Hallowed be thy name), after the BRE, they thank the crowd for coming and say goodnight. Its like they come back on for an encore to do Iron Maiden and do the whole goodnight chicago (? I think thats what they were saying, I couldnt quite work it out) again during the BRE its like your actually there with them (well ok, its not but it was pretty cool)

All passed now so no crying into my beer for me. Only failed on Powerslave (twice) and Iron Maiden (once) Iron Maiden is actually not that bad once you get the beat down. So all in all a productive evening for me. Now if you'll excuse me, I must take a shower!!!!
