Sky player kills my xbox audio until I reset the console

Hi all, I think this is a bit of a wierd problem. Whenever I launch sky player, and try to watch anything on demand, the advert that usually pops up at the beginning plays and sounds fine, but as soon as the pogramme starts the audio to the whole console disappears, not just within sky player. Even after backing out of sky player the audio wil not come back on in any games, dash etc until I reset the console. I have tried this many times and always trying to watch anything on sky player on demand kills the audio completely until I reset. I can't try live TV as I don't have multiroom, but all of the demo channels they give you seem to work fine.

I'm running an elite through HDMI into an LG37LF65, but I don't think it's anything to do with my setup. Any advice would be great!

Edit: sorry for the typo in the title; should be kills MY xbox

Have you tried deleting the Sky Player app and re-downloading it?

You will find it in system settings, memory, HDD (or MU depends on what you use) and then in games
