guys

i have been streaming videos from my external maxtor 750gig drive to my xbox via wireless for over 2 years with no problems.

just built a home cinema room and put everything back in its place

same xbox
same router
same pc
ect ect ect

i can see the pc from the xbox but it shows no files found ?
i have checked wmp 11 and checked that the files to stream are added and it can see the xbox360 all ok,but it just wont find any video files
the only thing that i can see has changed is the external drive that i have all my films on was (J) drive and now its (K) drive but i have changed wmp11 to search (k) drive so i would not think that is a problem.
so any ideas ?
also i cant ping the xbox360 via wireless is this normal ? i can ping the ps3

share priorities?
Try making the folders on the drive shared to "everybody" or "all users"

yep the file /drive where the films are is shared out with full control

this must be a router problem as the ps3 cant find the films either,but i just cant work out why.

xbox can see pc
media player can see xbox
files shared out
xbox live works
ip address all ok on pc and xbox
strange thing is i can see my documents on the pc from the xbox,but nothing else that i add to windows media player shows up ?
