Xbox360 n PC cant see each other - Help

Ive looked at all the posts here but cant see my probably anywhere. Ok i dont entirely know what im doing so this may not even be possible.

Setup:

PC connect wirelessly to Router
Xbox 360 connected to router by the wire.

Is is possible to do the whole media sharing thing?

If so how?

Ive followed the steps on the xbox website but the PC in media centre cant see the xbox to allow it.

Thanks

I had the same problems but i checked the solutions that xbox give you when you cannot connect on your tv screen, I had to Open a port from my firewall and that did the trick. I use MacAfee Security Center. So you may have to open a port on your firewall.

No bother. I have found though that some of my Divx's wont play, Error comes uo saying i don't have the proer codec's and gives a number after it. So having to do a bit of re-sorting my dvd collection on my laptop so they can play.
Good to see you got things going.
