Re: Need Some Help (Media)

1. You must have service pack 2 or 3 on XP (if you're on xp)

2. Disable windows firewall (or set the exceptions for windows media player and windows media player network sharing service)
- Start > Connect to > Show all connections > Right click your internet connection > Properties > advanced > windows firewall settings > select off or, click exceptions > check the boxes marked windows media player and windows media player network sharing service

3. Share your internet connection (if you have the option to)
- Start > Connect to > Show all connections > Right click your internet connection > Properties > advanced > check the box saying 'allow other network users to connect through this computers internet connection' > check the box below saying 'allow other network users to control or disable the shared internet connection'

4. Enable sharing in media player
- Open media player > click the arrow underneath library > click media sharing > click the box marked 'share media to' > select your xbox, then allow

Most people/sites have probhably already told you this so if they have, i apologise
