Problem setting up Media Center

I used to be able to use media center all the time, got a new xbox (The Red Elite), now Windows Media Center says it cannot find the extender?

I have Vista Home Premium 32-bit, all the latest upgrades etc, have McAfee security center 2009 firewall is allowing full access for all the programs and applications which are required, windows firewall is obviously turned off.

My router is a BT Homehub (The white one, not the new black one), that has all the latest upgrades etc.

Any help?

Thanks.
