Hi, just wondering if anyone has bought/fitted/used this kit and what they thought, did it revive a dead 360?

I've used the screw kits to revive a handful of machines now and they have worked fine. When it came to my own machine I didn't have much success however.

My original 360 went out of it's year guarantee and at the time MS hadn't announced the 3 year extension, so I opened mine and installed the Talismoon whisper fans, which were supposed to shift more air and make it quieter. They obvious didn't make any difference as my machine went tits up a few months later and by that time MS had announced the 3 year warranty but wouldn't touch my machine because I had changed the fans in it.

The fans aren't that quiet either, they shift more air, but because of that can be just as noisy as the originals.
