High Definition picture wanted from old XBox 360

I have a friend's old XBox 360. I don't know much about this console but since it does not have an HDMI output I wondered what options I have to get high definition pictures from the machine.

It has the (standard) AV output but the only cable/adapter he has given me is one that connects to a SCART cable. I presume this can only output standard definition (up to 576p) so what sort of cable/adapter do I need to output high definition - will it be component output?

You want a high def Xbox 360 AV connector. Either an Xbox 360 Component AV cable or an Xbox 360 VGA Cable

Component and VGA are the two types of Cable that can deliver HD pictures from an Xbox to a TV/monitor. Composite is a very low end SD cable.

Thanks guys. I thought as much but just wanted to check. I'll find one of these on eBay and see if it works.
