Re: 120Gb Hard Drive

I don't know about the legalities of hard drive upgrades on the forum so I will ask mods to confirm what the status is with it before go further into it, this is one of many things I offer, if its ok with mods then I will tell you more but I need the nod first

If you're after a genuine one then wherever you can find them cheapest. When shops do good deals on them they disappear very quickly.

I think the very maximum it should be is £60 and I honestly reckon it should be £50 but they sell at the high RRP so I don't see Microsoft changing the RRP much until they release an even bigger drive.

So far ive not heard anything, had a 300gb drive in the casing before but the partitions don't work for game saves only movies, something to do with the bin files on partition 3.

Re: 120Gb Hard Drive

I've just bought an Arcade console with the new "Jasper" board in.

Can this official 120GB Hard Drive from Argos be installed in my Arcade XBox 360? And if so, is it pretty easy to do?

Buy Xbox 360 120Gb Hard Drive. at Argos.co.uk - Your Online Shop for .

Thanks.

Yes that will work fine. I have a 120HD on my jasper model.

You may find it cheaper in Gamestation though

Sorry mate, been a bit lax on modding these days. Too busy in work!!

Technically its not 'breaking the law' to do the DIY HDD upgrade, but we'd rather you didnt talk about here. There are countless websites dedicated to this chat, but I'd prefer people not to talk about it here if they can. There are some older threads that are closed if you wanna check them out!

Keep it clean, keep it legal. Keep it off MS radars, cos they may ban your console if your caught doing this!

Re: 120Gb Hard Drive

Thanks, guys, i checked Argos, Gamestation and Blockbuster. Couldn't see it on the blockbuster site, but Argos was the cheapest.
