Hdd/memory problems, please help !!!!

hi,

i purchased an xbox 360 arcade version brand new just before xmas which comes with the 256mb memory card which is almost full.

i then went and purchased a HDD as i've started playing online, but the HDD did not work and the xbox doesnt recognise it in the memory settings, i tried various things suggested to get it to work but still no joy and sent it back as i thought it was faulty. i then go and buy another from somewhere else, guess what....still dont ******* work?

Can anyone tell me is there something i should be doing that i perhaps have not done already? many thanks in advance.

return the xbox 360 to the retailer,its faulty more than likely.
and you bought one of the older model xbox 360 arcades.
the newer ones,from just before christmas have no memory card,and have built in memory instead.
return it, tell them the issues you are having,as it was faulty as sold,and get a new one.
