no red ring just freeze,a reset can do the job?

As the title say my elite start freeze after 5 minuts use.Can a reset do he job and how reset the machine?Is an Elite from day one

Might be worth clearing the cache on the hard drive

If that fails your HANA chip or GPU is starting to fail and the red rings or E74 will be on there way soon.

Got the same prob here brand new 360 3 days old

Going get it changed today for new one see how long that lasts,knew should got a PS3.
