Iv just started getting this error message when playing a DVD. "secure link HDCP not found". Now, I know a lot of other people are having this problem too, but mine is a bit different. It's intermittent and seems to follow no pattern. It started happening once I got my new HDMI cable. (possible faulty cable?)
It got worse and worse til I couldn't watch the DVD, I just had a permanent Xbox logo screen and the "secure link HDCP not found" message. Then it took a turn for the worse and wouldn't let me use 1080i on the Xbox dashboard!!!!! I switched everything off, and turned off the power at the wall socket, and when I turned everything back on again it worked fine. DVDs and all running in 1080i properly again. I know its just a matter of time til the problem reoccurs, so im gonna replace the HDMI cable, and if this happens again, im going back to the component cable that came with the Xbox. Sorry for the wall of text. Has anyone else had this problem???

Its either going to be a problem with :

1) The HDMI cable
2)The 360 HDMI connection ,hopefully not. £60 fix fee I believe
3)The HDMI port on your TV/Monitor

Process of elimination is to change cable, try another HDMI source in your TV or Monitor.
