wireless connection problem

My wireless router is downstairs in my lounge and the connection to my xbox in my room is full. the problem comes when my sister goes on her laptop and sits in her room which is nearer the router and she seems to be using all the signal and my xbox live cuts out. does anyone know how i can fix this problem? i have heard that signl boosters might work but im not sure...

your problem is not the connection as you say, its full..but its the sharing of the internet connection thats the problem.
either a faster service,which enables both to have some bandwidth,or putting a password/security on the connection to lock her out.!!

Ditto Rottenfox will be a bandwidth issue.
