Hi there,

I bought the HD DVD drive last year and it came with the remote and it worked perfectly with my 360 until it was replaced. Since then it just doesn't seem to do anything. Anyone got any ideas as to what the problem might be??

And before anyone suggests I change the batteries, it still glows green everytime you touch a button, so I know the batteries are fine

Could there be a problem with the infrared part of your 360?

I don't think the remote needs to be 'paired' with the 360 - like a wireless controller does?

I was thinking that as well, my step son has a 360 upstairs, I might try using the remote on that one to make sure the remote works.

Go into console settings and change remote control settings to only xbox 360 remote instead of both for mine to work.
