It also requires a very close distance to your exchange, I tried to get bt vision earlier in the year and i was told that they didn't detect a broadband connection on our line and we needed broadband! I kindly informened them that we were paying them for broadband. Apparently are line is bad quality and has too many drops for btvision to work on.

I have btvision and its great, but i do get 8mb broadband as im only 500m from the exchange

Before i was with bt broadband i was with pipex and i never got more than 300k/sec download speeds i get 800kb/sec now with bt..(same line, same flat)
