20GB Drive Issue

I came to clear some space off my 20GB hard drive the other evening, get rid of a load of old game data for games I'm not likely to play again, stuff like that.

Anyway, got my games folder to around 3GB now I think it is - lots of arcade games in there.

When I come to save data to my hard drive, it says there's only around 6.7GB free!! Where's the rest of the space?

I understand that some of the drive is going to be taken up with system files etc, but 11GB+???

I've tried the clearing cache trick, but that did nothing! I've also checked the music and video folders, there's nothing there, its all streaming from my PC.

So any idea where I can get some more space back?

Re: 20GB Drive Issue

you only get around 11 or 12 gb of useable space on the 20gb hard drives so that is probably right if you have some games on it. go into the system seetings and memory to view the memory used for each file type
