Any idea guys,

I forgot I had the offiical elite/black play and charge kit after I sold my elite about a year ago, I got my hands on an arcade console and managed to buy a wireless controller off of a dude on this site but when I put the black battery into the white wireless controller and connect to the USB cable,no lights show up for charging it.

Any ideas, surely the black battery would work on a white controller

yeh it will, all thats different is the colour.
either the battery, lead, or pad is faulty.
the battery might indeed be dead,as its been left for about a year.
