hi all i am going to gt the 120gb hard drive with Hard-Drive Transfer Kit for the Xbox 360 i have herd you can only use this once is this true ? as i wanted to sell this on ebay

still deciding to go for the 60gb pack or the 120gb drive as theres only £10 diffrence

Cable works continually, hence why you may have seen threads for the cable being lent to other people to perform the transfer.(you dont get one when you buy an Elite but you do if you buy a drive separately).

Transferring the data though, from 20gb to 60gb or 120gb can only be done once.

you mean only once transfer per hard drive is this what peoople mean only you can use it once per drive but would work on others

It'll work on others, yes, you can sell it on.

What he means is that you can't go from the 120Gb to something lower, like your original 20GB, it only goes one way.

And the data is on your 120GB, it has moved, not copied. Hence you can only transfer your stuff once.
