pioneer kuro/360 settings

why cant my screen (Pioneer 50 kURO)display at 1080p when using my 360, connected via component. In the HDTV settings it stays at 1080i.

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT

Can your panel accept a 1080p signal over Component? I know it can over HDMI.

honestly dont know friend Been looking through the manual today and im stumped. Its the PDP LX5080 model.
Theres bound to be a boffin on here that knows.

If I were you I'd either check your TV instruction manual for details on input specifications (i.e. what each input will accept) alternatively you could post a question in the Pioneer owners thread or Plasma sub-forum.
