How Much Will I Reasonably Get For My 20GB HDD?

a while back i upgraded from the standard 20GB HDD to a 120GB HDD

my old 20GB HDD has been sat on my shelf doing nothing for a long while now and i have found out that someone i know is looking for a HDD so i said i would offer my spare 20GB

he was looking at getting one from Cex which sell them for £35 quid so whats the going rate for them as i was thinking £30 is that fair?

thanks

I think you're best bet is to Ebay it.

70% of the time you get better prices then in-store.

£30 sounds fair from what i was checking on Ebay earlier. However its worth noting that Play.com have the 120GB for only £58 now, so either its a one time offer or they are going to get cheaper. Demand is likely to increase after NXE allows you to rip discs to your hard drive.

Bottom line is for £27, you are doing each other a favour :-

He gets a drive, post and hassle free and cheaper than he's likely to find elsewhere and you get the funds for a new game, for an item you wouldnt use anyway.

Re: How Much Will I Reasonably Get For My 20GB HDD?

i bought the game today but it means i dont have to go get money out of the bank to repay my debts i can just get the money from him

and yes i agree he gets a good deal with no fuss as its good quality unlike the crap you get from Cex etc

i think i will ask for £27 as its fair on both of us

thanks UKBOY and all others
