360 HD drive question

hi

i am thinking of trading my n95 for a 360 package and will get the hd drive addon.

now i've read that i can attach it to my pc which is great but could i put it in a PS3 usb slot and play hd's through that?

also, is the drive multi region so i can play any hd movies in it?

the reason i want a hd drive is some movies are better on hd and their cheap as chips now.

Re: 360 HD drive question

It will only be of use with 360 or a pc, ps3 wouldn't know how to play a hd dvd, the drive doesn't play them, its just a drive with storage area for the 360 playback software.

as to multiregional, there was never any region coding in any hd dvd's, so they all work from any region, it is still locked for regular dvd playback though, to the same region as the 360, or whatever disc is first put in for pc, I think, the 360 ignores the actual drives dvd region and uses its own from my experience.

Re: 360 HD drive question

Remember you will need player software on your PC to play the HD-DVDs, standard DVD / Media player software won't play them.
