Does anyone know if it is possible to run HD-DVD's on Mac OS 10.5 using the 360 HD-DVD drive.

Hardware-wise. Yeah. Just plug it in and OS X knows exactly what it is.

Software..... No. If you put a HD-DVD in, it loads up DVD Player.app, but it doesn't know what to do with it, and, as far as i'm aware, there aren't any programs that allow the playing of HD-DVD disks

There's currently no way of playing back HD-DVD movies in OSX.

hopefully they'll be adding that capability soon, probably not in Snow Leopard but the next version of OS X
