If you mean PowerDVD v7, for just DVD and media file playback then Scan will sell you an OEM version for under £5. However, if you mean PowerDVD Ultra V7 to play back Blu-Ray and HD-DVD, then you'll have to pay around £50.

Personally, I'd recommend Arcsoft's TotalMedia Theatre over PowerDVD, it's been much more stable on my system than PowerDVD V7 ever was, and uses much less CPU than Nero Showtime's Blu-Ray/HD-DVD add-on.

Does the latest TotalMedia do HD DVD? If not what version did? I may try it over PowerDVD 7.3.

The latest certainly does (Version: 2.1.6.113) - and I think all versions have. There's a try-before-you-buy version you can download to check it's compatible with your system.

I tried it earlier unfortunately the picture was very stuttery and unwatchable. I have to stick with PowerDVD 7.3 for now. It did look nice though (and very like powerdvd).
