Hi all,

Bought a 360 HD-DVD drive for use on my PC today, plugged in - turned on - plug n play identified it as USB Device!! - no drivers found :-(

Everyone else seems to have it appear as Toshiba...
Any ideas ??

Have tried forcing it to use the UDF 2.5 drivers too but no joy

Yes got those installed thanks and read the instructions before installing but XP still just recognises it as "USB Device" - doesn't even pick up as CD ROM initially like others have done...

I'm stuck now :-(

I'm confused now...

Installed Acronis to backup and booted from the acronis CD - this picked up the xbox drive as a dvd drive and let me see the files on the DVD!

Can anyone tell me how I force Windows to tell it there is a Toshiba XBox drive attached to it ?? - it doesn't seem to be able to on its own ? :-(
