Has that offer ended.

Going in after work but a mate said all they have are players for £19.99 and a selection of cheap films. No mention of player plus 2 films for £24.99

Offer is on the Net so should be in store too.

This might tempt me to purchase the add on.

£29.99 + 3 HD-DVDs

Having said I would not buy any more HD-DVDs I thought that buying a spare 360 add-on might be wise as I have a fair collection already and for £29.99 you can't really go wrong.

Im actually in Swaffham, so it was a case of getting up early saturday morning to drive in to Norwich and rush to Gamestation.

They had loads of Universal titles in, I would be interested to know whether they get the Warner Bros ones in.

Wow sweet. Phoned my local GS they have loads in stock ducking out of work now to get one.

Said they're only doing the £24.99 offer, but still fantastic. Can't resist a bargain like that!

Re: Very Cheap Hd-dvd Player Offer In Gamestation

Look on the Gamestation website, it shows what you can order online. That doesn't mean that your local store will have the same titles. I already have a drive but am considering getting another as a backup. I use the one I have, connect to my iStar media streamer, so I can play unprotected dvd's and HD x264 MKV's from it.

Got an HD-DVD drive with Serenity and Bourne Supremacy for £24.99 at the Newcastle Gamestation.

Also picked up King Kong for a fiver from play so they should do me until I get a PS3 in a few months.

Re: Very Cheap Hd-dvd Player Offer In Gamestation

I got one a couple day ago for £24.99 with Waterworld and Apollo 13. I will be keeping it permanantly connected to my iStar HD media streamer as an external drive for playing H264 MKV's I have written to dvd. Plus I can connect a couple external USB hard disk etc. into the back of it if I need to.

Phoned my local store this morning as i've been waiting ages for 2fast2furious to come in stock online and it hasn't.

They have 1 copy of each and 1 drive left lol, if the drive and 2 of the films are still there at 5pm when i go down I'll get it, then buy the 3rd film for £4.99 from hmv.

That's a bargain R1PLEY, it comes with the Media Remote that usually retails for that price on it's own

I didn't buy it as I sold my HD DVD drive and all my HD DVDs in the forums here a while ago. Just saw it in their window at the weekend.

I don't know how you lads have kept playing that game for literally years!
I'm sure I will get GOW2 though, so looking forward to sitting in the dead room repeatedly again. You GOW players should get yourselves on Battlefield: Bad Company. It's great online and a good laugh. I bet JPG would be deadly with the Sniper rifles

It's the banter really and the amount of laughing whenever we play Hardly ever play randoms, just the usual jokers.

I think very few have gone for BF:BC judging by my Friends List; some Halo, some COD and a few other random titles but the common denominator is always Gears - and yes, JPG is still the same sniping g*t

Apologies, can go back on-topic now ...
