just turned xbox360 on and got red rings of death .and xbox live is poo at the moment .just got 12mths subs as well. hd dvd could be going down the pan .thinking of going to darkside when i get 360 back. if i swap hard drive with a mate will he be able to use my 12 mths subs. i know ps3 games list is crap at the min but there is cod4 no subs for online play blu ray and by the time i get bord with cod4 might have some good games out. had my 360 for about 14 mths trouble free till now anyway 3/4weeks to make my mind up .

The Live sub is connected to your Gamertag. So assuming you have already started it the only way he or she could use it is by recovering your tag and using that.
