Just got my first 3 red lights of doom on my 360

Basically I was wondering whether it would be worth taking it back to Tescos as I dont fancy waiting 3 weeks from MS just to get a filthy refurb sent back to me.

I bought the machine late June 1st and still have the reciept/box etc

Any advice?

Yep Tescos should replace it providing you've had it under a year which you have.

No it doesnt work, black screen, flashing 3 red lights. Dead.

Id like to take it back to Tesco to save me the 3 week waiting time from MS and to stop the possibility of getting a dodgy refurbished model back BUT Im sure they will just tell me that the 30 days are up as they always quote 30 days return policy dont they?

try tescos first.

think yourself lucky that you've got the red lights. mine has dvd problems without the 3rl and i have to pay to get it fixed

just send it back to ms --- for free.

Have a read of the FAQ I wrote stickied at the top of this forum. You're covered for way more than 30 days.

I'd say goto Tesco's
