Question Best Racing Wheel?

Hi all - quick query

Am looking to spend some xmas dosh on a racing wheel for my 360 (and PC if possible). What is the concensus on which wheels are best?

Am unsure of budget - a quick look seems to say I can buy a wheel from £40 to £140, I'd rather stay away from the top end of that range but I can stretch within reason.

All input/advise much appreciated - cheers

Re: Best Racing Wheel?

stay away from the madcatz mini wheel , its a waste of a free gift, i got it as part of the Argos deal in november , i have used it once, it will be on ebay later this week.

I would risk spending cash on the logitech driveFX, as all the logitech wheels i have tried or owned(ps2) have been awsome peices of hardware and would recomend them to anyone, u may have to push the budget to £50 but i have not shopped around yet to see if less than that.

I have the Logitech Drive FX wheel, I think I paid around £35 for it. The general concencious is that it's AS good or better than the official MS wheel.

I bought the same deal and I've found it to be very good with PGR4. After an hour or so of play it loosened up nicely and I've been able to go through Gotham Career on Hard so it can't be that bad!

Re: Best Racing Wheel?

recently bought the logitech driveFX for 50 quid from game. Reasonably happy with it but I do not use the force feedback thing with it as I thought it was not very smooth. I just do not plug the power into it and its better for me
