Not reading games properly.

Hi, I've been offered and Xbox360 at a really cheap price but theres a problem with it. I'm not sure what the problem is exactly. This is what the seller has to say about it.

Q: Hi im in croydo too ! when you say plays games when it wants to what do you mean exactly ? does it show the red lights or does it just report dirty disc or disc error ? also what is the manufacture date of the console please
28-Dec-07 A: hi havnt had the red lights, when you put a games disc in it just say to insert xbox game disc, may work straight away but it may take 10 attempts to get it to load, CDs and DVDs always work, hve been told that it can be fixed, i just dont have time, its only 6months old but i have misplaced the receipt, i think it can be sent off to microsoft, hope it helps Mike

Is this easy to repair? Or what is it exactly?

Re: Not reading games properly.

That website repairs fauly/broken consoles. If its cheap enough, is it worth sending it to them and getting it fixed? (that way you would still save money instead of buying a new one) If not then its up to you...

Chris

Mod Edit:ive removed that link,as i wouldnt want anyone to have any problems, and suggest all users either contact the retailer,or microsoft.

Aha, sorry about that.
