usb headphones

first of all i would like to say hi and merry christmas im new to the site and the xbox360

does any one know if usb headphones work on the 360 and if they do have any suggestions what ones are the best and where i can get some from thanks

and if they dont work do you know of any alternatives thanks again

can you get USB headphones at all how can a USB support audio.
edit:ive googled usb headphones and found some i guess the do exist

I have some USB headphones for my PC but I have never tried them on the 360, I always assumed they would be unsupported, however, I might give them a try tonight and report back to you.

Tried it and as expected it didn't work.

Shame really as this would be a handy feature for me.

You can't use anything that's not officially supported by MS on the 360. USB keybaords are about the only exception, but they have standards to comply to aswell.

What's wrong with using headphones that connect to your TV or amp? That's what I do.
