hi wonder if anyone can help.
got the recent update that supports divx the only problem is some divx,avi files i try to stream from the share folder on my pc cant be seen by the 360 but when said files are put on portable device(memory card,cd,dvd etc)it can see them with no problem at all.iam using windows media connect.

try refreshing your WMP11 media library (press F3 at the library) and ensure that those folders that contain the avi's are being monitored by WMP11.

Are the files .MPEG-4? as the 360 can read them just fine off a USB drive or CD/DVD but as standard you cant stream them from a PC using WMP11.

how strange,and i wonder if there is anything can be done as its the stage 6 divx files that wont stream as they must be mpeg4

I think there is a registery hack for WMP11 to make them show up on the 360 but I dont know any of the details.
