Xbox 360, impressed!

Got my new 360 for Christmas and it's bloody excellent.

Was deliberating whether to get a PS3 or 360 and finally decided on the 360 and am very glad I did.

COD 4 = WOW
PGR 4 = WOW

Got the wireless bridge set up with PC streaming and was well impressed now I can watch all my DivX vids without having to spend hours writing them all to disc, yea!

And was all very easy to set-up and use.

The controller is excellent, best I've ever used and the wireless bit is a revelation. (no more tripping over)

Only complaint is it's a bit noisy whist gaming but don't really notice it when actually playing. And on the dash it's very quite so whilst streaming from my PC it's quite which is a relief.

Overall very very pleased

Re: Xbox 360, impressed!

Just got my Elite for Xmas too and have the same 2 Games you mentioned, Also streaming divx and wmv has been a joy over the wireless adapter from the laptop downstairs.

My only gripe like yourself is the noise on Dashboard and during Games, its a bit loud really but not enough to ruin the experience.

Lastly I am also really happy with the prices of Games at the moment, thanks to Gamestations recent offers picked up COD4 for £25, PGR4 for £22.49 and yesterday Mass Effect for £20 all brand new might I add ... not bad at all especially for someone who still remembers paying £65 for an N64 game in my Teens.
