Weird RROD?

Ive been getting a weird RROD on my 7 month old 60gb. Basically the Xbox cuts out (screen goes pixelated - then turns off) then red rings. But the odd thing is - which i havent had on my previous 3 RROD - is that my TV (Panasonic TX-32LXD60) switches off as well then turns back on? Nothing else on my 8 plug extension lead is effected - wireless router, Hifi, digital clock are all fine? Once i reboot the xbox it will start up again but will then do the same again within around 10mins? Its happened 5 times in a row so far.

Anyone heard of this before or are aware of what has gone on?

Thanks

urz

I'm guessing you're using HDMI in which case it's probably something the 360 sends through HDMI rather than it happening through your extension.

No, ive got it connected via component - run out of inputs on the TV to have the xbox connected via HDMI - would this still be applicable?

Curious then, perhaps it's just some glitch of a signal being sent with a whacky resolution or soemthing. Not seen that one before myself so it is indeed a weird one.

Likewise? lol. I had a good google search and couldnt find nothing? Not to bothered about the xbox breaking as it gives me a good excuse to buy an Elite - but i was a bit concerned if there was a fault within the TV or even worse the electrics?
