| No Signal Issue with Xbox 360
Hi everyone, first post here, decided to join as you guys seem so helpful with xbox 360 problems.
Anyway I was playing Modern Warfare 2 when I noticed a distortion of colours on my screen, I thought nothing of it played it for a bit longer then turned it off and on again and it didnt come up on my screen 'No signal' just floated around the screen, I thought meh, its a sign to get some sleep.
Woke up went to work come back played some more MW2 and all of a sudden the red and green graphics appeared so I went into settings and changed something to automatic I think it was something to do between YbPrBR or something and HDMI, I then did the good old turn off and back on method. Nothing. its been a day and a half and still nothing, I can only assume MW2's awesomness destroyed my xbox.
Now looking around it seems the red and green graphics ant a good sign a last rites if you will. The GPU is on the brink or something.
However I have noticed a few things I at the moment can only connect my xbox 360 Elite via HDMI cable due to me not having the other cable, now a friend is coming over tonight to see if it works with the other cable.
Also, when I turn my xbox completely off it says on my TV Check for Signal, when I turn it on it flips to 'No Signal' which I can only assume its getting something through.
I tried it on my brothers Television, only to get 'No HDMI avaliable', however if I pulled the HDMI cable out and back in, I would get a black screen with nothing on it and I can still here sound (i.e my blades moving back and foward on the dashboard).
Tried it on the big tele downstairs and sweet FA happened.
The normal warranty ran out in August for the Xbox and everywhere I look it seems to me that the RRoD is coming to reap my xbox yet it hasnt appeared after nearly two days, so my last bastion of hope is me using the componet or VGA lead or w/e it is and hoping it will work. So anything you guys can suggest, other than the lead?
Much appreciated, guys!
