What Do You Get In The Xbox 360 Elite Package?

As the title really, just ordered one. Hopefully it will come with the trasnfer cable to transfer my 20gb stuff on my pro 360 to the new one?

I don't believe that you get one in the bundle (obviously not everyone who buy's an Elite already has a 360) I think you have to fill out a form on the Xbox site with your Elite's serial No and they send you one out in the post.

If you're requesting one from Microsoft it just took me 8 days to recieve my kit. Considering the postalstrikes I thought that was excellent.

You can pre-request a kit before you get your new console, just put "on order" in the space where they ask for the new consoles details.

They dont come with a HDMI cable any more either and you also dont get the free 1 month Live subscription.

Are you sure

I know they no longer come with a HDMI cable but all new consoles should come with a Months Free Gold. I am sure it is when you create a new Gamertag on the new console and you get a months gold free. This should be for the 1st 3 new created gamertags on the new console.

AFAIK they havent changed the policy on the new tags getting 1 months

If you can have a look around, I bought a new Elite form comet on friday, and it has the black bullet point pictures on the box, but inside I have the HDMI cable, composite cable, audio dongle and all the rest etc.

I think its a jasper model too as the power brick is half the size of my original and has a lower watt rating too.

Re: free months live with a new console, you have to create a new Gamertag on the console, and choose silver membership. It will ask if you are sure, choose Yes. It will then say you qualify for a months free gold membership.
