802.11n Wireless Adaptor

I've seen reports of a official 802.11n Wireless Adaptor for the 360 that looks set to be released soon.

Has anyone seen any pre-orders (or actual items for sale) for this product online?

Re: 802.11n Wireless Adaptor

I don't think any further information other than its "coming soon" have been released, i've certainly not seen any sites taking pre-orders, because the RRP hasn't been announced AFAIK.

Re: 802.11n Wireless Adaptor

Just to add to some more info,

According to Engadet, the small amount of retailers that were advertising this for Pre Order, have now removed the adapter from their sites and pre order requests.

Looks like its not going to be with us anytime soon.

Re: 802.11n Wireless Adaptor

Engadget have just got it listed that some US retailer is going to be selling it in a few days time at a cost of $88

I'd expect it to be around £69-79.99 then, considering the exchange rate + VAT.

I've got a wireless adapter that has single red light and I can't seem to fix it, may pick this up in time..

Below is the story from Engadget:

My Wireless adaptor did that, got stuck with just a red light and wouldn't work. Phoned MS and they sent me a brand new one in the post within 3 days! Didn't even need to send the duff one back to them and it was older than 12 months. Might be worth a go, even if you just sell the new one on.

Re: 802.11n Wireless Adaptor

Probs easier to post the info in one place so its easier for people to find etc.

Most have been posting in the original thread:

Official 802.11n adapter confirmed

Be interesting to see how the pricing pans out on this though. I will stay wired regardless

Re: 802.11n Wireless Adaptor

Another update:

A user of HotUKDeals forums has said they saw the Wireless N Adapter in Asda today, for £49.99!

See the post here.

I asked if it was in-stock, they said yes!

And to the user above who said ring M$.. good shout, will do, even though I have no proof of owning (It was bought 2nd hand but it doesn't sound like you had much problem, Wonder if they'll say no seeing it never worked from day one)
