Lightbulb Xbox 360 hardware tranfer USA - UK

Hi i was just wondering what hardware will work on my UK xbox 360 if bought in the US

Im going on holiday soon and controllers, memory cards etc seem to be cheaper there.

I was hoping someone could let me know what type of hardware is multi-regional and what i should avoid thanks

Only the games wont work (unless you find out in advance which are region free), peripherals you're fine but i think you'll find they're not really cheaper in the states. You'll be looking at around $49.99 + Tax for a wireless controller (around £33), 512Mb memory card is $29.99 + Tax (around £20), 120Gb Hard Drive is $149.99 + Tax (around £85).
Wireless controllers over here around around £29.99 (Zavvi online were selling a black wireless for £19.99), 512Mb Memory cards are slightly more expensive at about £30 and hard drives can be got for about the same.

Re: Xbox 360 hardware tranfer USA - UK

as above all accessories are totally region free

games on the other hand are not totally region free (as im sure you are aware) though there are several lists across the internet of region free games that can often be bought in the US/imported before the EU/UK release

when buying accessories though be careful as any problems that may occur it is harder to get sorted though you should be able to go through MS

again as above look at the prices and see if its a saving or a big enough saving to warrant buying them over there
