Microsoft are a joke. And not a funny one.

Just phoned Customer support to work out what is going on with the PSU. Gave me a UPS tracking number to check. Called UPS and got the typical "invalid code" response. Phoned MS back and they then tell me that its actually been shipped via Royal Mail. Thanks guys - really helpful!

daKlone - Looks like I'm not going to make tonight.

Cheers. Feel a bit of a lepper at the moment. Got loads of time to do things Bullet Magnet related and no flipping 360.

Fingers crossed Royal Mail come up with the goods today. It was sent on the 22nd. Probably been nabbed by the postie.

I thought this had actually happened when I got my 360 first of all - It somehow 'dissappeared' from the parcel force depot in Norf London. As you can imagine, I went straight over there, and got incredibly angry when they told me it had probably been nicked by staff members.

In the end it turned out that they weren't theiving bar stewards, just incredibly thick. It got sent out from Comet with my address on it and the label from when it was sent from microsoft to comet. So instead of delivering from london depot to me, the muppet driver read the original address and re-delivered my 360 back to comet in coventry...

It eventually arrived 3 days later, at least the postage was free

Oohh, nabbed by the Postie - painful

Have you got any sort of tracking number that you could hassle the local sorting office with?

All MS could tell me was the name of the snail that was delivering it. Apparently its their slowest one and they are very proud of it.

My son will be over the moon when he comes home on Saturday. Thanks a lot guys, sorry for so many requests for help but you know what its like when you want something up and running asap! Your advice was invaluable.

Clearly a clan is a team, but how do you become part of the clan (ie do you simply add the other team members to your friends list?) and how do you make it so it's simply one clan against another and not a load of randoms operating at the same time?

Anyway, questions finished and would love to form part of the group or another!!

Edit - From this thread, just worked out how to get my gamercard to show. Cheers!!
Hi mate

Thanks for your post, its great to see more and more gamers getting interested in clan games, yes a Clan is a Team. We play against other teams on teh same game, it could be any team, anywhere Japan/German/USA etc, its all ranked on a leaderboard on Gamebattles.com.

Im on tonight at around 9.30 im sure daKlone and a few of the others guys will also be on, what were suggesting is that you come on for a few relaxed games and a chat, that way we can see if you will gel in a team (I.E can you take and respond to orders/team movements etc or do you run off and do your own thing on your own!).

We can then look at putting you in The Bullet Magnets to play these ranked games against other teams on the ladder.

Please remember that if you are welcomed in the clan you are expected to play these ladder games when asked to and we need you to really commit. Just like teh old saying a Clans not just for now its for life!

Add me to your friends list and see you on live maybe tonight

Just add a few of us from the Roster list in Post #1 of this thread (less the TBM_ bit) to your friends list and join in a few games. We're not testing to see if you're good at the game (most of us aren't!), just if you fit in with our style of play really.

We're on every Friday and Saturday from 10pm and at various times during the week, so it would be good if you could commit to at least an hour a week of "Clan Duty"

Edit: Sorry BuFF, didn't see that you'd already pretty much said this!

I tried! Apparently a loon running round town telling everyone about the Bullet Magnets isn't considered newsworthy! Now the story about the progress of the snail from MS could easliy make the 6 o'clock news! Latest update...3 days later and the snail has just past the front door of the MS building...

On the positive side there are a few other people who haven't even turned up for work yet (the joys of academic life!) . I turned up for a 9.30 meeting only to find out that I was a week early. Doh! My boss has phoned in and cancelled meetings on the grounds that he's been poisoned!

Just had a sheepish call from the boss. Reckon he was trying to find someone worse than him! No sympathy here!

On a less bright note, my office now smells like a tramp has died and is rotting in a corner somewhere.

Been trying to phone the Mrs all day. No response. She's obviously not doing either the cleaning or the cooking. Probably having if off with Van Owen.

Anyway I'm about to set off for home - will be back online around 6 with good or bad news.

Everyone cross their fingers for me!
