I'm pretty new to a Xbox 360. I haven't really bothered with old games before, but today I just ordered PGR4 and Prince of Persia for 99p each, used and in mint condition from eBay and I imagine there's many other top games out there too. I'm considering Test Drive, Gears of War 2 and a few others for under a tenner.

Anyone got any other suggestions?

Condemned. (Condemned 2 also worth considering; I prefer the original game though).

I love the rainbow 6 games, but they do look a bit basic after playing COD.

Most can be had for between a fiver and a tenner, prob even cheaper on the bay.

Gears 1 & 2 where my first purchases after GTA4 and they are all brilliant. Multiplayer is great fun when it works and you don't have to be a brilliant FPS to enjoy it. Would also recommend Bully. Good game to get your points up and good fun at the same time. Happy days.

You can get the Oblivion/Bioshock multipack pretty cheap these days, not played Oblivion or Bioshock much but they both get rave reviews. It'd be worthwhile checking out the AVFer's top 100 games list and seeing what's old there.
