Hey guys ive gotten a few achievements in left for dead, but everytime i quit the game and go back into it and on the main menu click achievements its coming up as they are all locked even tho ive finished the no mercy level. Yet when i go into my gamercard on the dashboard its coming up as they are unlocked and saying ive finished this level and that ive killed so many with a molotov etc.

Does anyone else have this problem?

If you got that familiar 'ping' sound and the achievement popped up then you've unlocked it.

I think theres an issue where you have to be connected to live for achievements to register. If you've been playing offline, connect to live and see if they are listed.

I do remember thought that the campaigns in left 4 dead have to be done in one sitting, so you cant do a chapter, save and come back to a campaign, you must do it all on a single run through.

Yeah i got the ping sound and they are coming up in my gamercard/gamertag when not playing the game. Its just when i go into the achievements in the in game menu that its coming up as they are all locked for some strange reason. Its still clocking up my total kills etc but i finished no mercy just no mercy and the stages within it.

Its strange hope theres nothing up with my disc/game/xbox live

I had this problem but it fixed itself when Crash Course arrived. It's nothing your end, just Valve screwing up the achievements for the game.

they were all locked due to the crash course DLC appearing, don't worry all mine were locked too but they unlocked again after a day or 2.

on your cheevo stat list in-game, does it show u have say for example an amount of kills on any of the stats?
