What is up with EA these days?

Need for Speed Shift, leaderboards etc were not working from day one tho think partially back now.

Can't get onto EASportsworld for FIFA 10, trying to do the Gameface. Read that Live Season 2.0 is down also!

Don't developers test anything anymore before releasing? Or is it now the case of get the game out quick and fix it later?

And same goes for Codemasters, DIRT2 tournaments and ghost downloads were all messed up.

Re: What is up with EA these days?

EA are extremely quick to drop support for games so i guess they dont put much effort it

eg. As soon as they start designing and getting close to bringing out a new game the support for the old one dies down, NFS Undercover comes to mind

To be honest Fifa will be getting hammered at the moment with loads of people playing it to be honest, i think EA have made some utter dross over the years the only exception and it started from dead space and the games seem to be getting better.
The sports games are always going to sell anyway the only thing i detest about EA is their MS points pricing ingame and the fact that you have to sign into ea servers and stuff

Yes but you would think by now that measures were put in place to cope with demand. EA know how popular the FIFA series.

I know, have changed my email address and can't link my gamertag to it so have to stick to the old address which doesn't exist anymore.

They are making stuff OTT and its not working.

Don't know what is up with their website, but my brother is always complaining about it. He had to use my email address in the end as there was something wrong with his anytime he had to sign in. All people want to do is play a game, yet they make it some complicated

Re: What is up with EA these days?

The problem with Skate was the EA system couldn't cope with spaces in Gamertags. They did fix it by the time Skate2 rolled around, but it caused me soooooo much grief. I still get loads of emails from EA to all the different addresses I tried to get it to work.
