A very slow burner. The first hour or two can leave a sour taste, but if you persist, you'll find one of the most atmospheric, engrossing and fun games in a long time. I could write a list of 10 potential game killing faults but the bravery of the dev team to try something new and different make these faults easy to overcome. With a little more time, it could have been a masterpiece. As it stands, it's just very good.

I played the first bit of it and although it has numerous flaws I could see it being quite interesting game and it's good to see a developer taking some risks. However, I stopped playing as I read somewhere that the PS3 version is patched to remove a lot of the gripes and that patch may be coming to the 360. I was waiting to see if that was the case before I re-hired it.

Picked this up last week for a few quid and have to say i'm glad it wasnt more than that. It had the potential to be a really good game but as it is it certainly isnt. There are so many niggles with the game i cant remember the last time i played a game where so many small thing irritated me. It seems they had lots of really good ideas for the game but either the engine or financial or time constraints prevented them from making them play properly.

If this game had been made by Valve it would have been a masterpiece, but as it wasnt, it isnt. Shame

as a guy above me said, had potential and failed. So right. has so many nice and exciting aspects which werent pushed and polished far enough. making ur own bombs and items is actually amazing, u arent stuck with pre-selected items, apart from standard like guns and such. setting things on fire, blowin them up with molotovs that wraped with ducktape is just fun, 1 game run was a bit too much, but then again, i only missed 2 achievements, which means i enjoyed it!
