So, Condemned 2 is out now, and you've had a chance to play and discover what the full game holds. If you would like to share your opinion on this game, what you liked/disliked about it, please vote in the poll and comment in this thread.

A 10 should only be given for a landmark game that sets new rules, a 9 for a truly excellent game without a fundamental flaw, and an average game that does things right but nothing special should get a 5 (not a 7 like some reviews would have you believe).

played the game through to completion there at the weekend, havent played online as i dont have internet at my home but will give this an 8 for the single player.

the good - great storyline with some twists and turns and some really tense moments. Also finishing the game unlocks a fps mode which is also a good blast through. The game is very challenging at times, but pushes you along nicely.

the bad - occassional slow down. Linear level design in some places. a few bugs in others if you dont follow the script. the game can be too dark at times and the visual tricks the designers use can sometimes be too much and make it hard toplay and navigate.

the ugly - the strange side games dont offer anything, just sort of fighting arenas and scenarios for sp, but they are hopelessly dull and once completed dont give any indication if you have done well or bad. feels tacked on and pretty pointless.

overall -great game worth a rental maybe a buy.

It's a 9 for me. Currently halfway through my second playthrough (this time on the bonus "FPS mode") and as a massive fan of the original (it was the reason I bought a 360) it delivers everything I could possibly want. The only weak point for me was the none-ending which serves little other than to set up Condemned 3.

started playing this and thought it was great but started to annoy me and after completing it once on normal i dont have the enthusiasm to play it again on another level.

I loved the first one, completed it a couple of times round. Just couldn't get into this at all. wasn't feeling the same chill down my spine like in the 1st edition. i never really got a chance to as there was almost combat every few seconds. bit disappointed to be honest and gave up after a couple of trys.

im in the museum level now,and its definately getting better...the first 3 or so levels are very slow..and its not as tense as the 1st game,but its getting better now ..unfortunately though what with gta4 out tomorrow..this game will now be gathering dust for a while..

Played the demo, thought it was rubbish, don't worry though of course I haven't voted.

The original I only played the demo of that too, that was much better.

I bought this pre-owned for a fiver from GAME, after reading online comments about the original and this one (I'd have preferred to get the original, start from the beginning, but GAME didn't have it). First impressions are that this really isn't my kind of game. I knew it would be violent, and that did give me pause for thought before I got it, but I thought the horror might give the violence some context. So far, though, it's quite an unpleasant little game and doesn't fill me with a need to go back for more. I'll stick with it, though. Although, if it's true that the game does get better, the developers should have done more to maintain interest right from the start.

Slowly but surely getting into it, now. It does a good job of creating an atmosphere and there are some well-timed jumps throughout. Where the game really excels, though, is in the use of 5.1 - there's always plenty gooing on in the rear speakers, enough to create a sense of dread and distress, especially when playing this at night with the lights down. I'm interested in seeing how the story pans out (the violence is something I'm just going to have to live with).
