Please only vote if you've played enough of the game to comment.

A 10 should only be given for a landmark game that sets new rules, a 9 for a truly excellent game without flaw, and an average game that does things right but nothing special should get a 5 (not a 7 or 8 like some would have you believe).

Average. Too hard and annoying harder than the demo which was hard to start with. Glitchs and slow commands on some levels don't make it any easier. Did I mention its too hard and annoying.

SOrry, I couldn't resist. It's payday and I felt like an impulse buy. I wanted to know what people thought of it and... nothing. Not a single comment. I guess nobody's that excited about this one.

No problem I wasn't having a go!
I liked the demo but I could just see hours of frustration coming from this.

Well, I love the demo, so I'm going to dive into this one. Noticed Eurogamer gave it a glowing review too.

Re: Stuntman Ignition: Reviews

This is a special game, no doubt. The core of the game is basic - hit the marks, go through the gaps, jump the ramps. They pile on alot of eye-candy - explosions, set-pieces with moving vehicles you have to interact with but all of that is unimportant among the core gameplay mechanic.

The skill here is memory and agility - it's key to remember where the next mark is so you can approach it at the right angle and speed, and do it quickly so you don't lose your combo bonus. to complete a stunt isn't a big deal - but to complete it with a 5* score is a real skill, and when you do it, you know you did it because of your skill and judgement, not because you've overcome a crumby driving model or physics engine.

This is pure, replayable skill based gaming, in many respects just like it used to be back in the old days of Stunt Car Racer on the Amiga or something like that.

Adrenaline, eye-candy and pure fun this game, though if you get put off by the memory/replay aspect you won't get on with it. For me though, I'm still grinning.

Re: Stuntman Ignition: Reviews

Its one of those games I won't like unless I'm good at it. An it takes alot of practice to get good but once you figure things out its pretty good. So I now rate it as 7 (Good) only because something clicked with me an I got a load of 5* scenes off.

Munkey Boy is it like the original in terms of difficulty etc? I loved the original for being so tough. You had a real sense of achievement once you completed a tough section so id like it to be more of the same. The tuk tuk level on stuntman was fantastic!

I couldn't answer your question, sorry, this is the first Stuntman I've played... I heard in a few reviews it is very similar to the original though, whether that's a good thing or bad thing I'll let you decide!

I got to the last level on the first one can't remember if I ever did do it though. I would say its about the same diffculty if you going for all 5*, if you just want to do all the scenes its very easy because of the new strike system.

Absolutely try the demo first, it gives you a very good idea of if you'll like the game or not. I wasn't going to get this, but I got hooked on the demo last week and it convinced me to buy. Love it!

its fun at 1st, if u dont take the game too serious, couse to be honest, if u start ull demolish and prolly break dvd in half. gfx r non existent, so is physx. jumpin thru loops of fire and things blowin up all around u, but then again if u do want all that play split second velocity or blur. not recommended, complete waste
