It's a Good vote from me, which surprised me as it must have been one of my most anticipated games of last year.
There are moments of greatness(mainly the few point to point rally events in locations such as Croatia) but not not nearly enough.
I accept that this is no longer a rally game(hence the reason they dropped the word from the title I guess) but it's gone too far removed for my taste, there was plenty to enjoy for everyone I felt in the first Dirt, but here I think most rally fans will be left disappointed. I suppose I just have to accept the game has moved on to a different audiance(largeley Amercian I would imagine).Too many circiut tracks(which seem to repeat often), too many supercars, too much sand, and my biggest dread... ramp jumps

How I would love to be racing in my old favourite terrains such as Sweden, Finland, England(as in countryside) etc. with the option of choosing to race the old classics!
The Americanisation of the game really irritates me, the whole Burnout style of the presentation and the needless way you move from event to event just feels unecersary to me(I personally hate the whole RV thing). The first had a beautiful slick, interesting and useful interface, and I loved the way it showed friends times after each race. Also the constant chatter(which you can turn off for in-race, but not pre/post race and within menus) drives me mad, I don't class myself as a serious gamer by any means, but I don't want to keep hearig how "awesome" everything is and "hey...
insert name here..." after every event
I never thought I would say this as I'm not a fan of tarmac circuit racers, but I found Grid(and Dirt1 for that matter) far more enjoyable games than Dirt2, no-nonsense, hugely polished, some great ideas(your team, sponsors etc.) and more exciting and fun.
Overall then a good game, but not a great one for my personal taste, doubt I'll bother with Ken Blocks
Sand Dirt 3 when it comes along, and will pin my hopes on the official WRC game that's being developed.
[EDIT]Well, thought I waited long enough to vote, but after unlocking the McRae challenge(which I didn't know about) and with that a mkII Ford Escort, the game has improved no end, the McRae Challenge has definately been my highlight of the game, and finally a car that controls exactly the way I like(you actually feel in control of powerslides!). Luckily once unlocked you can use the Escort for a good few events, and even though the AI choose supercars to compete against you, I find it much easier to win with the Escort than any of the other supercars(due to being easier to control, despite the 4/10 handling rating).
Would have been enough to raise my vote to "very good" if I was able to change.
