I havent seen a thread for this but i am intrested on peoples views of this game.
also does anyone know of a website to find info out about this as i cant find an official website.

The vids on the marketplace will bring out any gamers sadistic streak, being able to tie your enemies to a bike before dragging them down the road for example, or perhaps you'd prefer to tie them to a gas canister then send that flying through the air...

Loved the first game, so this ones a definate buy for me.

Cant wait to hook someone to the bottom of a helicopter and take them for a fright, I mean Flight.

WOW this wasnt even on my radar, didnt play the 1st one, but this island look so nice, i'd go on my hols there!

Will keep an eye on it.

This one is looking very pretty indeed! Just hope they didn't have to make too many sacrifices in the gameplay dept in order to squeeze it all in...

I bought the original on a whim with money that was burning a hole in my paypal account after trawling around ebay - it sat in the cupboard for months before I really got into it, I ended up doing a "race to 1K" with a mate of mine and we sat in voice chat while playing and because you do could most things at anytime you had no idea who was actually in the lead.

Think GTA on the Far Cry island and you won't be too far away... considering you can get this for less than a tenner now it's a steal.

OH YEAH!

Looks like a fun game, the attaching grapple is pleasant (Espesh the poor fella on the plane ha).. as are the rather large buildings you can jump off.. I just hope the heli's are easier to control that those of GTAIV!

So many good games coming soon

Played the 1st 1 on PC, it was abysmal.
2nd 1 looks like its taken some roids..
I was chatting to a mate saying it gave me vertigo, the cliff diving parts.
Could be very good, some what of a sluggish frame rate, but if it plays anything like RED FACTION GUERRILLA, then its going to be a sure fire winner..
Just needs good controls and decent game play, but that looks fun with all the vehicles you can steal and totally screw your little little foes..

No multiplayer for Just Cause 2 News | Eurogamer

Oh and you have to open the clip in youtube itself to choose the different branches off the video.

Friday 22nd January/... Square Enix London Studios, a part of Square Enix Europe, today announced that Just Cause 2 for the PlayStation 3 will ship with a built-in video capture feature, allowing players to record clips of their greatest in-game exploits and upload directly to YouTube.

With some of the most incredible emergent action sequences seen in any game, Just Cause 2 frequently features moments which simply defy description. Moments where the physics, gameplay and AI all come together to create an over-the-top stunt or spontaneously chaotic scene of carnage players will want to watch again and again. By activating Just Cause 2’s video capture feature, players will be able to automatically record the last 30 seconds of gameplay directly to the PlayStation 3’s hard drive and upload to YouTube.

BASE jumped from the highest bridge in the game? Captured. Jumped out of a jet fighter and crashed into an oil rig? Recorded. Parachuted off a cliff onto a passing helicopter, laying waste to a military harbour with missiles, before ejecting, skydiving down through enemy flak, grappling soldiers to passing aircraft, leaving nothing but the smoking remains of the military might? Saved, uploaded and published for the world to see.

Also available from the in-game menu is a 10 minute capture feature which allows players to create more detailed and planned presentations. Gamers will be able to capture and share in-game mission walkthroughs, create online speed-run competitions, direct their own South East Asian-inspired Machinima and more, with the best YouTube videos linked from the official website allowing users to vote on their favourites, with prizes awarded for the best of the best.

As Rico Rodriguez, the Agency's most powerful weapon, players must take on the island of Panau and its military regime in order to track down Rico's former boss and mentor, Tom Sheldon, who has gone rogue with millions in Agency cash and intel. Using a unique grapple and parachute combination, there is no vertical limit as the air becomes your playground: grapple a passing plane in flight, hijack helicopters, BASE jump from the tallest buildings or mountains and leave a trail of chaos and destruction in your wake. Just Cause 2 offers players the freedom to tackle missions any way they choose and, with over 100 vehicles and countless upgrades and collectibles, the choices for relentless adrenaline-fuelled action are limitless.

Just Cause 2’s video capture and upload feature will be available exclusively for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system. Just Cause 2 will also ship for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Games for Windows® and will be released under the EIDOS brand portfolio. Looks sweet, this looks like one of those games thats just FUN to play!

A demo is on its way too.

Regarding the pre-order stuff, it looks like there are 2 versions, 1 with the extra stuff and one without for the same price.
