Looking much nicer than the first one.

They're still saying September, no date yet though. Glad the Disney deal hasn't affected this (yet).

Quite worrying that there have been hardly any details on this game so far, I hope it isn't because it's pants or is going to be delayed.
I thought the first one was excellent, bought it on the PS2 originally and then again when I got my 360.

What's even more worrying is that it's being released 3 days after ODST

Will have to get both

I usually check Gamespot and the previews section on this forum, not actively looking for it though I must admit, just whatever appears on the first page

Only 4 posts in a preview for a game out in a couple weeks, maybe it's just not as popular as most other games.

coming out at a bad time, loved the first one but money is tight and with Halo ODST, Fifa, COD its hard to throw another £30/40 at a game.

Loved the coop gameplay in first one, had friends every weekend until we completed it.

I remember completing the first one with 3 mates all in the same room, reminded me of the snes days where we'd get the multi-tap out and all huddle around the 14" tv for a night of Super Bomberman. Good times

The first one came out just after I got married. Luckily my new wife got Gastric Flu just before we went on honeymoon, so I got to play it for a week solid! Loved it!

BUT, I have not seen any decent preorder offers on it!

I won't pay full price for this no matter how good it is. But I'd pick it up for £35. I just have quite a big mental barrier between £35 (reasonable) and £40 (expensive)! All depends on reviews, of course. Also, I have the problem that I don't think many of my friends will be picking this up, if any.

Seems like most places have this priced at around the £40 mark.
I may just end up renting this and complete it over the weekend. Only a few people I know are getting this so it will be a bit of local co-op for me.

With ODST due on 22nd it doesn't seem worth spending 40 on a game that will most likely get very little play until the other is finished.

Hmmm, nothing really new in this one then.
I really enjoyed the first, so I'm sure I'll enjoy this too, but I had hoped they would try to develop it a little more.

One thing I did notice was that the CGI looks worse in this one. The pre-rendered cut scenes in the original were fab. Loki and the trolls attacking Asgard was a thing of beauty.

The Juggernaut unlock I mentioned is already a free download on the marketplace so that makes Amazon's use of it as a pre-order bonus worthless! However they are still the cheapest seller currently with this at £36.25.

GAME have Jean Grey as a pre-order bonus character unlock:

I hate it when they give different stores different exclusives. Do you have a link to the Juggernaut link in Marketplace? All I can see is the teaser.

Seems I got it wrong. The Juggernaut on Marketplace is what you have to download if your Live mate is playing as Juggernaut from his pre-order bonus. I've been told it's just a software patch so that everyone can see him in-game! What a jip. I expect him to be purchaseable DLC once the Amazon pre-order exclusive has grown old by a few weeks. He's already a microtransaction for US PS3 owners, apparently.

He might well be the only complete pre-order exclusive, with Jean Grey and Hulk supposedly being unlockable in the game anyway.

I bought both DLC packs for the first one. Added very little to the game apart from a bit a variety in the team. I can see me getting hammered for DLC on this one too.

The code is only an push button code. There was a video posted a few posts earlier to unlock. It's not a unique code.

I'm enjoying the game so far. Seems a lot easier than the last one. On the highest available difficulty, and breezing through. Just after registering for this playthrough, mainly because Iron Man is a better character to fight with than Cap!

But no code for Juggernaut.

Wonder if that character is unlocked once the game is completed or certain goals are achieved?
