Just happened across a video of the new Terminator game made using all in game footage. I hadn't been paying attention to this game but the video has peaked my interest.

it reminds me a lot of Wanted. I think Grin has copied over a lot of elements to this game. Lets hope its more than 3 1/2 hours long.

Gears meets Dark Sector meets Terminator. I think it looks alright and co-op makes things interesting.

It wouldnt surprise me. My golden gaming rule is never buy a film game but I have read average to favourable reviews of some film games of late so was just wondering.

I played the Wanted demo and hated it despite it being Gears like, I really hope this Terminator game is closer to the Gears than wanted

Agreed.

It does seem to have a GoW look with the way you can get in and out of cover, climb over cover and do the swat turn.
Hopefully it will have the fluid GoW feel.

Let's hope that a demo appears soon.

That would be good but film games dont tend to get demos.

In this instance I mean a game that comes out just before the film it is piggy backing not games like bourne or wanted.

I was about to, there have been a few film-game demos out recently.
Wanted(as you mentioned), Wheelman(that is from a movie isn't it?) and even Riddik.

Ah, I don't know.
I just hope a demo appears so that I don't end up wasting my money if it turns out to be grade A crap.

apparently this technically isnt the 'game of the movie' as it is set after the last movie and before this one so this probably explains why it is looking quite good.

This does look like it's shaping up nicely but I'm sure I read that the co-op mode is offline only, which is a shame.

I think the Achievements are for simply completing levels and the game on Normal and Hard. I hope Hard is available to select straight away and the Achievements are stackable. This looks like it could be a fun 1000G.

as much as i like a game with challenging achievements its nice to have a game that just lobs big points atcha.

Wheelman isn't based on a film, BUT, they are now thinking of making a film from the game!

It concerns me that lots of stores have got this priced up below £30. That doesn't speak volumes about the confidence in it. This could be another average game like Dark Sector that people expected more from.

Played this today co-op with a mate at his house,it is a very good game.Brilliant fun and the graphics and sound are top notch.It is also fairly scary! And before anyone asks,yes he downloaded it from the net and he has a flashed drive.Also played bionic commando...what a pile of stinking pooh that game is!!

The AI in this game is utter garbage. Seriously this is a bad game. Dont expect it to get anymore than an average score of 5.

I only see easy medium hard, did not see veteran. there is no achievements for completing on veteran

Can you give a bit more of a review please? What's wrong with it? What does it play like? Is it good for 4 hours and then gets a bit samey or is it just a wrong 'un? Cheers

Well the gfx are horrible in a lot of areas, sometimes they look like Xbox 1 gfx running in high res. The voice work is horrible even from actors who appear in the movie. The voices are out of sync with the characters lips. Sometimes the lips dont even move when the characters speak. The same old boring lines repeated over and over.

The characters models are plain horrible, they have not facial movement they just stare and blink. You clear one level of spiders and then more just appear, you are basically going through each level encountering the same boring enemies. I thought there would have been some sort of end of level boss or something.

I had a T600 just standing there shooting and it did not even make an attempt to kill me this happens through out the game. The AI is poor. There is plenty of room for the spiders to move around objects that you hide behind but they dont they just stand or walk up and down and shoot, they dont make the effort to move around obstacles to kill you.

Well for a nailed on 1000GS I'll be getting it. When I saw the Cheevo list it was obvious it was going to be a bit of a stinker
